As a yoga teacher everything I do in life is infused with the lessons I’ve learned on the mat, especially when it comes to my books and this blog.

In 2005, I thought about writing a book called Yoga Brides,  but my publisher convinced me to write, Eco Chic Weddings, which was published in 2007 followed by Eco Chic Home in 2010. But it was never just about Eco Living for me. If you’ve read my books or my blog over the years, then you will already know that what I write about is mindfulness, intention, and action when it comes to making lifestyle choices. My books are still available in all major bookstores, go here to purchase.

I started blogging in 2007 with Eco Chic Weddings, joining the first wave of successful style blogs along with Style Me Pretty100 Layer Cake, and Oh Happy Day! I care deeply about helping people have a better experience when it comes to getting married–I think it’s way too stressful with way too many expectations.

In 2009 I changed my blog to Good with Style and moved beyond weddings to include home, design, and living stories. GWS became a go-to resource for sustainable style ideas and has been nationally recognized by Better Homes and Gardens, Ladies Home Journal, Apartment Therapy, Lonny and more.

This is the newest version of my blog, you can see the old blog here.
